Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. She was most recently seen as Carlota in the Netflix TV series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer hails from the United States and is a performer as well as a comedian, actress and singer. She was best known for being a part of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, she has appeared in the sitcoms ABC's Suburgatory The TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her career at Northwestern University; she initially studied as a vocal major. She later changed to theatre studies after she became involved in the university's Improv Comedy group. Her improv-loving spirit carried over into her roles as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character on Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite. The whole thing has lead to American Auto, an NBC comedy that will finally give Ana Gasteyer her starring role. She is most notable for her time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. In the intervening years, she was a part of the sitcoms ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the movie Mean Girls.
